Shri Vaishnav Educational and Charitable trust, Indore was formed in 1951.

The Parental body of this trust is Shri Vaishnav Sahayak Kapda Market Committee. This committee was established in 1884 which was organized by Cloth Industrialists and Merchants. It is dedicated to the service of the society and the nation.

In the field of education, the trust is running five colleges in the areas of Management, Engineering, Commerce, and Law & Teachers Training. It is also running many Higher Secondary Schools for children education. Shri Vaishnav Medical College and research Centre is another Institute in the pipeline. Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth is likely to be declared as a Deemed University by the University Grant Commission (UGC). The above colleges will be under the umbrella of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth in that case.
