About the Department

The Department of Management was established to match the industry requirement of qualified Management professionals. Hence, the department focuses on management education more than just a curriculum delivery. The department is committed to develop leadership skills amongst students through innovative thinking and activity based learning with deep understanding of fundamentals of business management. The eminent faculty members are committed to impart quality education and all round development of students with innovative teaching pedagogy which has been designed by keeping in mind the industry requirements.

The Department offers three Post Graduate Programmes wiz Master of Business Administration-2 Years Full-time MBA (Dual Specialization), 2 Years Full-time MBA(Financial Administration) and 2Year Full-time MBA (Marketing Management) and a 3 Years Full-time Under Graduate Programme- Bachelor of Business Administration. The students in Master of Business Administration-MBA (Dual Specialization), (Financial Administration) and (Marketing Management), are admitted as per the guidelines issued by Directorate of Technical Education, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh where as the students in Bachelor of Business Administration-BBA, are admitted through the guidelines of Department of Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh. The programmes follow the curriculum designed by affiliated university, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The entire course delivery aims at creating business professionals to face the ever changing dynamic environment. Class room lectures by a pool of highly qualified & experienced faculty members, workshops and seminars by renowned industry & academic experts are organized for the students aiming at their holistic development. Regular Industry visits are conducted to give them an insight of the application of the class room learnings in real life. Students are encouraged to undertake social and academic live projects and are actively involved in presentations, simulations and inter-departmental/institute competitions not only as a part of academic learning but also as a sense of commitment towards society. Extra-curricular activities such as Business Plan Competitions, Management Fest- Prabandhotsav, Trade Fairs, Treasure Hunt and Sports competitions are organized on regular basis for students to provide a platform to show cast their off the track talent. Case Development and Analysis Workshops are organized for the Faculty members and students to inculcate the approach of situation based analysis and decision making in management education. Entrepreneurship Development Cell organizes the activities for the students to inculcate the entrepreneurial skills among them and encourages them to undertake their start-ups. Institutional MoUs with Industry like Bajaj Finserve, TallyChamps etc. facilitate enhancement of students’ skills to make them better professionals and getting prepared for the Industry challenges in the times to come.
